Rolf Slotboom is waarschijnlijk de man met het meeste geduld in deze hele zaal maar vandaag lijkt hij een tandje bij geschakeld te hebben. Inmiddels staat hij al op 45.400 chips.
We kregen te horen dat hij een raise maakte naar 1.125 waarop zijn directe buurman er 3.525 van maakte. Slotboom schoof na deze reraise allin voor 27.000 totaal en zijn tegenstander gooide af. Helaas kon onze landgenoot niet vertellen wat hij speelde maar dat is begrijpelijk gezien de tegenstanders aan zijn tafel die altijd hun oor te luister hebben liggen.
Daarna opent Slotboom naar 1.650 vanuit de small blind met {A-}{Q-} en de big blind callt. De flop kwam {K-}{8-}2x} waarop Slotboom 2.000 bette en een call kreeg. Op de turn viel er een {q-} en onze landgenoot check-callde een bet van 4.125. De river bracht twee paar voor Slotboom doordat er een {A-} viel en hij checkte wederom. Zijn tegenstander besloot 11.125 te betten en Slotboom maakte de call.
"Hij had negen-vijf" zei Slotboom die uiterst content lijkt te zijn met zijn stack van 45.000 chips. Nadat hij de dag als één van de shortstacks begon zit hij nu weer rond het gemiddelde. |
